Status Comments Group Stacks by the Workflow That Ran

|October 7, 2026
When a comment lists stacks under more than one workflow, each workflow gets its own section. Those sections could be wrong. On a release comment, stacks that ran your apply workflow could appear under the plan workflow's title, and two sections could carry the exact same title, so you could not tell which stacks ran what.
Atmos Pro now builds those sections from the workflows it actually dispatched for the event that triggered the comment. A release shows the workflows you configured for the release, a pull request shows the ones configured for that pull request action, and a merge group shows the ones configured for the merge queue. Workflows you configured only for other events no longer influence the grouping.
Workflow files are also compared by name rather than by how the path was written, so atmos-terraform-plan.yml and .github/workflows/atmos-terraform-plan.yaml count as the same workflow. If two different workflow files share the same display name, their section titles now end with the file name so you can tell them apart. Titles that are already unique stay exactly as they were.

Existing Comments

Comments for events that have already finished keep their old grouping. Comments for runs that are still in progress correct themselves the next time they update. Drift detection comments are unchanged.
