Light Mode

A Theme for Every Workflow

Atmos Pro now has a first-class light theme to go with the original dark one. Pick whichever matches your editor, your monitor, or your mood — the choice persists across sessions, and a "System" option follows your OS preference automatically.

How to Switch

You'll find the theme toggle in two places:
  • The site header — visible on docs, marketing, and public pages.
  • Your user menu inside the dashboard — under "Theme," with Light, Dark, and System.
Your preference is stored locally and applies everywhere in the app immediately.

What We Tuned

Bringing up a second theme surfaced a long tail of hardcoded colors that worked well in dark mode but read poorly in light mode. In this pass we tightened:
  • The docs sidebar active link, "On This Page" panel, and CTA cards.
  • Plan badges (Free, Starter, Team, Enterprise, Early Adopter, Open Source, Edu, Nonprofit) — each now has a soft pastel light variant alongside the existing dark variant.
  • Repository status cards (In Sync, In Progress, Drifted, Error, Unknown, Disabled, Orphaned) — flat neutral cards with colored counts, less eye strain, easier to scan.
  • Audit log category badges, user "Enabled/Disabled" badges, and workspace-locked banners — all switched from solid black/red to soft tinted pills with proper contrast.
  • The Deployment Stability heatmap — the cold/stable end of the gradient now renders as a soft slate in light mode instead of near-black, while the warm/critical end stays untouched.
  • Toasts (success, warning, error, info) — explicitly themed in both modes so the text stays legible regardless of background.

Found Something Off?

Light mode is a big surface, and it's likely we've missed a corner or two. If you spot something that's hard to read, looks washed out, or just feels wrong, drop a note in our Slack community or open an issue — we'll keep polishing.
